The peculiarity healing caring Ted Kennedy fast perceived after his brain cancer diagnosis would not be accessible to Americans if the U.S. adopted the healthcare policies advocated by the Massachusetts Senator and alternative liberals, an consultant opines.
One day after an MRI found a tumor, Kennedy was diagnosed with a virulent glioma, and reduction than dual weeks after the growth was private by a heading brain cancer dilettante at Duke University Medical Center.
He will take the chemotherapy drug Temodar and embrace deviation treatments, according to Robert M. Goldberg, clamp boss of the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest.
“Of course, with his resources and power, Kennedy would get great diagnosis anywhere,” Goldberg writes in an perspective square published in the New York Post. “But the same caring is accessible to each American.
“Not so — if we have the health ‘reforms’ called for by Kennedy and alternative liberals.”
Those reforms would embody concept healthcare coverage, and countries with such a process “always breeze up slicing corners simply to save money,” Goldberg observes. “People with Kennedy’s condition have been failing or passed as a result.”
The consultant cites the e.g. of a 22-year-old lady in England — that has concept coverage — who complained of headaches for months, but had to wait for for a year to see a neurologist.
She afterwards had to wait for for some-more than 3 months to get what Britain’s National Health Service motionless was usually a “relatively urgent” MRI scan.

Liberals what have been your thoughts on this?

No, because liberals want us to be a socialistic state with big government and to take away our rights and liberties established by the Constitution, which has made us a great, prosperous, democratic, republic. Universal healthcare would be a disaster not only for taxpayers, who have to unvoluntarily support a system they might not utilize and many undeserving will, but it will also decrease the quality of healthcare from lack of advancement and competition, andcreate long waiting lists as stated by the person asking the question. Protect American liberties and protect our healthcare system. For those of you who think universal healthcare is good, just look at the disasterous systems of Europe and Canada. God bless America!
not unless you get the same medical program that all Congressmen and Senators already get paid for by you and me.
but fear not, if Obama is elected he will expand the Congressional system to include every American that wants to buy into it
if McCain wins, well, guess you die
I was thinking that too…if his agenda for health care were intact as we speak he NEVER could have received such prompt and wonderful care,,,in fact,,,,I seriously doubt, given his age and liver issues that they would have done the surgery at all…
My doctor told me I had 6 weeks to live, when he found out I couldn’t afford to pay him…He gave me 6 more months….Think his name was Goldberg also…
yep..this article says it all
god help us if Obama gets elected
Of course it won’t be available. Look at any government subsidized program and it fails abysmally. Look at public education, every person has access to it and the US spends more per child than any country in the world, and still lags behind pretty much any Western country and there are various levels of differentiation among various socioeconomic areas. People who think charging people who pay income taxes to subsidize everyone else’s health care will magically solve all the problems of inaccessible care with the exact same quality possible now are completely naive idiots.
Vote no on socialized health care.
sure as long as you can afford it
Sure, if the govt pays for your medical care and takes you to Duke Medical Center. Translation: Not a chance in hell.
Only the idiots think universaly health care means equal quality. How people don’t realize this I don’t. The elites want us to sacrifice more freedom and our income for THEIR control. Meanwhile, they get the best of everything.
